To the best our knowledge, every precaution has been taken to insure that your new pet is
healthy. Buyer agrees to have dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of
the time pup is received to verify its health. If your pet is found to be unsound, please
contact us immediately following the veterinary visit to inform us of any detection regarding
a life threatening defect. A written-SIGNED assessment by your veterinarian will be
provided to us and if the seller’s veterinarian agrees with the report, the puppy shall be
replaced with another companion puppy. Should the buyer decide to keep the dog, despite
health issues, any/all costs for the dog's future care will be assumed by the buyer. The
seller assumes no responsibility for this pet if it is not checked by your vet and reported to
us within the 48-hour timeline. Please keep in mind, all of our puppies are thoroughly
examined by a veterinarian, and shots and worming are up to date upon delivery, however,
your pup will still need future boosters, rabies, etc.. Dr. Lonnie Robichaux is our
veterinarian and his phone number is (337) 364-7624 should you want further
information/references. Your puppy is guaranteed against any life threatening genetic
defect for one year.
The buyer and seller of the puppy agree that the buyer is responsible for any/all vet
charges after the date of purchase, including any incurred because of genetic/inherited
defects. The buyer is also responsible for any shipping expenses of a replacement or
returned puppy. Hypoglycemia is not covered by this warranty.
All of our dogs are AKC registered and puppies sold as pet companions will be marked
limited on their registration. Buyer agrees to spay/neuter pet at 6 months of age or at least
prior to 6½ months of age. If puppy is not altered, with vet verification sent to seller,
warranty is void and puppy will not be registered with AKC. Spaying and neutering costs
and any additional fees arising from these procedures, including undescended testicles,
are the responsibility of the buyer.
Buyer agrees that dog will be raised as a house dog and provided with all necessary health
care by a licensed veterinarian, including all remaining puppy vaccinations, yearly
vaccinations/wormings/rabies. Buyer also agrees that puppy will not be taken into any
public situations, i.e., Petsmart, groomer, dog parks, etc. until puppy has received his/her
16 wks checkup and all puppy vaccinations. Rabies is given after 6 mos..
A non-refundable down payment of $200.00 is required to reserve the puppy of your
choice. The balance is required 10 days prior to receiving/delivery of your pet. No other
warranties or guarantee, expressed or implied, are made under this contract except those
stated in this contact. This sales contract is non-transferable and should buyer relinquish
ownership, contract is then null and void.
We strive to present you with a healthy, well socialized, adorable puppy as near as
possible to the characteristics you expressed to us that you would like in a puppy. Thank
